22 Months, and "Counting"

Emma is counting. She can count to 10. She mixes around the 5 and 6, but she is only 22 months old. She is growing up so fast. I think that the only big hurdle to get over will be potty training. But I think that once we put her in Pull-Ups or another training pant she will be really quick to train. She just doesn't feel wet in a diaper. But she sure knows when she is muddy.....

"C'mon Mom"

We went out to eat last night. Russ and Emma headed out to the car while I was handling the check. She was following Russ, Emma stopped and turned around and looked at me. She clapped her hand on her thigh and said, "C'mon Mom" just like I was UTtey, our dog. It was the funniest thing that I had ever seen. I laughed until I had tears in my eyes.

"I you"

I you. That is how Emma says, "I love you." She is so cute. But tonight we ate out at IHOP and she was sitting in the high chair and she wasn't so cute. She farted and then announced, "I fart" I don't know what to do...Of course, Russ wants to teach her to count down. 3,2,1 (fart). I am just appalled at that suggestion. He just thinks it is so funny. I know, I know you probably think that I am uptight. But, I'm really not. I like to have fun. I just have a problem with worrying. I worry about everything. I cannot help it, I come from a long line of worriers.

Yo Gabba Gabba

Has anyone seen the new Nick Jr. show Yo Gabba Gabba? It is the most retro-fantastic children's show. Emma just loves it to pieces. We get home from the sitter and she wants to watch it while I cook dinner. She shouts, "Gabbas!" So I turn it on. If you mute or pause the TV or radio she will say, "On, On, please" I think we are raising a TV junkie.... I cannot wait until the weather gets warmer so we can go on walks after dinner
